Bonni Pomush is the Executive Director (CEO) of Working Wardrobes, an Orange County-based nonprofit dedicated to helping men, women, young adults, and veterans overcome formidable challenges to achieve the dignity of work. Bonni took the helm in 2021, succeeding the organization’s founder, and has since focused on leveraging her extensive background in program administration and non-profit leadership to expand the organization’s reach and impact.
Under Bonni’s guidance, Working Wardrobes champions a strengths-based approach to helping job seekers. She oversees the Rebuilding Careers program, which provides no-cost, individualized services that extend beyond merely providing professional attire. These services include essential workforce readiness components like one-on-one career coaching, job search skills training, and certification programs, all designed to address the personal and systemic barriers clients face on their journey to gainful employment.
Bonni brings a deeply personal perspective to her leadership, driven by a philosophy that focuses on turning grit into growth and preparedness into opportunity. Her experience, which includes successfully managing complex budgets and securing significant capital campaign funding, ensures the organization’s long-term sustainability as it serves thousands of individuals annually across Southern California. Her vision is to continue building upon the organization's legacy, striving to make the world better, one person and one paycheck at a time.
