Louru is a healer with a unique perspective shaped by her personal journey. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in Western medicine, she initially believed in addressing ailments with quick fixes like pills. However, her own diagnosis of Graves Disease at the age of twelve became a turning point. While Western medicine helped stabilize her condition, Louru felt a deep desire to understand the underlying causes and truly heal.
This quest for deeper healing coincided with her mother's struggles with over-medication and subsequent discovery of Eastern medicine. Witnessing her mother's transformative journey inspired Louru to explore alternative healing modalities. This experience broadened her understanding of health and wellness beyond symptom management, leading her to embrace a holistic approach to healing.
Is there more to healing than just pills and prescriptions? In this episode, I, a self-proclaimed skeptic of anything unproven, ventured into the world of holistic healing to meet the intriguing Louru.
